To better grasp the French understanding and practice of intelligence oversight, part of the GUARDINT project team tested some preliminary ideas and concepts for the construction of the Intelligence Oversight Index with members of La Quadrature du Net (LQDN) in Paris. LQDN is a French civil society association, which promotes and defends fundamental freedoms in the digital world and fights against censorship and surveillance. The focus group session was held 10:00-13:00 at the CERI at Sciences Po Paris.
