In a contribution for about:intel, a European discussion forum for intelligence and surveillance, GUARDINT team member Kilian Vieth explains the added value and use cases of GUARDINT’s recently published document database. It explains its purpose, its content, the different ways of using it and how feedback from fellow researchers can now help to improve this new tool.
“So far, there has not been a thorough documentation effort to make such documents easily and readily available for researchers and the interested public. A recently published Surveillance Oversight Database aims to address this challenge and increase availability of documents specifically related to intelligence surveillance and oversight.”
